Utopia offers a vetted portfolio of move-in ready single family residential homes. Landlords can list their single family rental homes on the Utopia Exchange for free. These homes, once approved, will be shown to Utopia’s underwritten, background checked and budget approved ‘rent to own’ customers. These customers are cherry picked for you based on what they can afford to pay in terms of rent, and then ultimately buy once they are mortgage ready.
Landlords have the flexibility to determine the rent and sale price of the property. We assist you in figuring out the current monthly rental charges and the appraised value of your property based on your local market conditions (Our certified inspectors ensure that your property is move-in ready and our certified appraisers conduct a thorough evaluation of your property).
Once your listing is approved, you get the digital documents from Utopia to review. Once the documents are reviewed and signed by you, we match your property with our approved and interested customer. From this point on, we complete all the formalities around leasing agreement, option to buy agreement and property management agreement between the ‘rent to own’ customer, you and us.
